Fault codes for MF 6245

Hello, I致e been trying to fix my parents 3 point linkage problem on their 6245 Massey Ferguson but have ran out of ideas. The rest of the hydraulic system works fine, as in the front end loader, and the PTO is fine. In fact all other operating functions work fine. After eliminating some possible causes it seems to be a fault code problem. The knob that lifts the 3 way has a red warning light that is permanently on. It was flashing a 2-4 sequence but now it is just staying lit with no flashing at all. The farm machinery businesses haven稚 been very helpful and 2 tractor mechanics that have called out both couldn稚 help, but were happy to take my money regardless. I would be grateful if anyone could suggest something for me to try and I am happy to pay. I just desperately want to get it fixed as it痴 fire season and the meadow grass is high. Thanks. Lincoln.
Edit: so the 3 way linkage does not function at all. It’s a 3 way switch.

This is a really really long shot, but since the manual and mechanics can’t help, it’s certainly something to try - just disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if that resets the codes. Also make sure the battery is fully charged (and the alternator is working) in case minor voltage drops are part of the cause. Is a simple thing yo check at least; you never know.
