I have been left a Case IH 885XL and I think the 3 point hitch is broken or worn out.
i will try and explain as i am not a farmer.
the links that lift the arms seem to be worn, if we lift up an offset topper and move it out to the right the left sided link moves upwards (not the adjustable one) seems to move. does not seem sto have any strength in holding the topper square on the hitch (directly behind seems OK)
also there are two arms that seem to lift a tow hitch at the bottom and these do nothing in fact they are very loose.
the tractor is 23 years old and has never had anything done to to the hitch.
apologies if this is straight forward but i just need to know what i need to replace to get the hitch back to normal (there are no issues with the hydraulic ram etc)
