We went to a fall wedding and had some amazing food. I mean that when the food was served no one was talking, all you heard where the forks hitting the plates it was that good.
One of the food that we brought into our thanksgiving day tradition was the corn pudding.
2tb of butter add 1 small onion cook until tender.
add 1/4 cup of flour cook 1 min. wisk in 1 cup of milk and 1 can evaporated or sweetened condensed milk, heat to boiling while wisking constantly, simmer 5 mins. stir in 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp of pepper, remove from heat.
In a 2 qt casserole beat 4 large eggs lightly add milk (from above) stiring constantly and then add 1 can of sweet corn. Put the 2 qt casserole into a pan with water and put into a 325 oven for about 1 hour-1hour 15 mins, or until a knife comes out clean from the center.
You can thank me later, its that good.
