Rain don't bother me none.

Wind is higher than I like.. not 'roof ripping'.. or even shingle ripping.. but it's tugging on things like awnings and shelter structures .. etc... dang strom aint moving fast.. it's setting here.

north floridians report in.

Good Afternoon Chris,
Im certainly not in north Florida, in fact as I type this Im looking out at a beautiful sky over Lake Ossippe in NH ! :)

But I do have an interesting story, my oldest sons girlfriend, who was up here with us until monday afternoon had to fly into Ft Lauderdale on tuesday to perform an audit . We watched the news and thought no way was she going to get that flight in, and if she did she wouldnt get back out of there ! The way the storm tracked, she was able to fly in tuesday and fly back out on wednesday afternoon !

Who would ever have thought that could happen ?

Anyway Im sure the rain is welcome in your parts ! Hopefully you wont get much damage !

I don't quite qualify as N Florida either.

Plenty of rain, moderate wind, you know, the kind that cleans excess leaves and branches out of trees, nothing too serious.

I think Fay is just a impatiant teenager wanting to hang out in Daytona for spring break...

We are getting tons of rain here I am about 24 miles west of daytona beach.

I was working in orlando today and on the ride back wow the wind was pushing my box van all over the place.

My garden is all flooded out too.

But we still have a roof over our heads and are safe for now.

Ron.

I went to Tallahassee today, almost no rain to speak of after crossing I-75. I have been dispatched on loads going to Orlando, Ocala(very light load, yikes!) and Stuart.Things keep changing due to power outages not allowing loading to people deciding they aren't going to be there to take the delivery. I think I am going to head for Stuart, but it will put me down I-95 before Fay gets far enough inland to miss me. Oh well, the life of a truck driver...
Hope everything stays put on your end Soundguy, Tile and Podagrower. I think other than a lot of rain and winds messing with the powerlines caused by downing trees and limbs, the worst of ours is over or should be by in the morning...

My parents are near Stuart. When I talked to them a couple days ago they had already had 12 inches of rain with 5 more forecast. They needed rain but I'm not sure they needed this much rain.

No wind damage though.

They are on higher ground so flooding won't be a problem for them but I guess the people living in low areas are going to be hurting.

We need the rain up here but Fay does not look to be heading our way. The mountains need the rain desperately.

Later,
Dan

Bright and Sunny here in NW FL - Fay is sposed to be here tonight - But they say the thing is moving 5 miles an hour and if that's true, I would think it would take a week to get here at that rate !
