FBI Warning Of Latent Computer Virus

OK folks, normally I don't send out virus warnings; but this is an exception. I first saw this on a local TV station. I went to the FBI's web site to check our PC's, and they are clean; but I will check them from time to time until the trigger date of July 9, 2012 passes.

I checked our computers too...This is really serious...I heard on the news the other day that China alone has stolen five times more documents from us that are contained in the library of congress..I know in these times it is tempting to not trust our govt....believe me I know the feeling...but some of these precautions are absolutely necessarily ----there really is a cyber war gong on right now.

I saw this on FOX news a few days ago. The national news says less than 600K infected,interestingly the FBI site says it is in the millions. hmmm.

Supposedly there are millions world wide that are affected but only a half million or so that are infected.

I would be most of the infections are in China.

Here's what I did. A few years ago I was getting almost 800 junk e-mails a day from China based IP'S, So I went on a crusade.

I traced back all the original IP addresses and sent e-mails to THAT IP. ...well and others all based in China.

My E-mail all had things in the Subject line like...." FREE THE REPUBLIC" "Overthrow the government NOW" "Protest Wen Jiabao" " No more Communism" ....and a lot more crude and rude comments to the IP addresses.

I would send E-mail that all people should gather on Tiananmen Square for a protest, with specific dates and times.

Almost Overnight the incoming spam went from nearly 800 a day down to less than 50 a day.

I know the China Police Ghosts all incoming e-mails, so by sending revolution e-mails, or freedom e-mails, I knew the Government would shut down whoever received my e-mails.

Good for you, mind telling us how you did that? This is an interesting video from a government other than our own. Very instructional.

might be a good idea to setup your routers to opendns servers.....
