It would be fitting if everyoe who reads this thread would remember this and offer a helping hand to others when needed. This kind of thing makes the world a better place.

This reminds me of last week on the way home. I noticed a car on the side of the road and an elderly lady looking under the hood. I drove past at first but decided I should turn around and check on her to see if she needed to call someone for help. When I got back to her car she was pouring oil into the engine. Asking if she needed any help, she said no that she was fine.. "Just adding oil". I went up the road a couple hundred feet to turn back around and was watching the old lady. In the time I turned around there were two other people who had stopped and asked she needed help. I chuckled to myself that she problably was just wishing people would leave her alone so she could go about her buisness. LOL

I wonder if she ran it until the oil light came on??Equaling 4 quarts low? How else would she know.....Still friendly of you to offer her help...good deed for the day..

Tom couldn't have been any more generous with his time. I didn't even offer to pay for his fuel, cause I knew he wouldn't take it. You could tell he was that kind of guy. So in departing I thanked him as best as I could, and told him I always do my best when given the chance to help someone out just as he did. They say if you help someone out it will come back to you later. He looked at me, smiled and said "it looks like your getting payed back today"..The world needs more guys like this....
