Feeling Smug

Your right Chris, there are those times when the weekends aren't available and only the weekday evenings give us the oppourtunity to go out and get some therapy on the tractor. Kid(s) seem to be one of the dominate deciding factors. Rat...

P.S. Most of the lots where I am at are 15 acres or less down to as little as 2.5 acres.

Well, I have 4 small children, so pretty much everything gets pushed off into the evening. But I can't see myself firing up the tractor after dark- we're on a residential lot, and as melodic as I might find a 3 cylinder diesel, I'm not going to inflict it on the neighbors ( or explain it to the sheriff /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif ). But adding lights will help fulfill my need to tinker /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. And we looked at another rural property, so pretty soon the situation will probably change.

I have just one word to say about this... SNOW! I find it often comes at times that are most inconvenient. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I agree with you on the snow. I usually have to plow to get my work van out in the morning. 5 AM isn't unusual.

We've got a minimum lot size of 10 acres (that would be me). One of my close neighbors has 40, and right behind him is a big 600 acre parcel that developers keep on trying to build stuff on. No luck for them so far - they can't find water and can't get good perc's for septic. Bummer for them, good for us /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
