Loader FEL + 4in1 bucket not operationg properly

Dear All

I have a Kubota L3710 with the LA682 loader equipped with a 4 in 1 bucket. Everything worked fine for years but since yesterday the FEL will not go down and the 4 in 1 keeps opening regardless of the direction I switch the bidirectional switch. All other functions work fine - lifting + tilting the bucket. The quick connect couplers are fine and the hydraulic fuids are fine. All the linkages into the control valve (Husco) is fine. It appears that the control valve that feeds the oil into the cylinders that push the backet down is not opening. However what I do not understand is that when I leave the bucket up and switch off the tractor, the bucket will go down slowly when I push the Joy-stick up (Down motion actuate). This means that the oil will flow in the backward direction. This then let me think its a pressure problem but the bucket goes up fine.

Do you have rear remote? if so check to make sure that lever is not engaged. Sounds like you might have dead head, restircion down stream from the valve.

No I don't have a rear remote. Planning to switch the tilt and up/down lines tomorrow to see if it's a blockage. do you think that's a good trouble shooting idea? At least it will rule out the possibility that something is wrong with the valve control unit.

Turned out it was a balance problem between the 3point hitch - too much weight on the hitch.

I know it's sort of off topic, but have you noticed any issues with not enough lift capacity with the extra weight of the 4 in 1 bucket?
