Not having power steering is a bit cumbersome, but there were many TO's and 9N, and 8N's that had manure buckets on them, as well as snow buckets. You just have to steer when moving, as its impossible to turn the wheels otherwise. Some had cables that would operate off the 3pt arms to lift the FEL. Some had one-way rams that would lift by tapping into the hydraulics for pressure, and tying the 3pt arms down in a fixed position.
