When you "purge" crawfish you are soaking them in salt water to make them clean their insides out. When we purge we will cover the crawfish with water and use one can of salt. soak for 10min rinse with fresh water and let soak for 5 min. then repeat with the 10 min salt and and rinse. I find it gets them much cleaner. . . How much are ya'll paying per pound, cooked 40lbs sat. we got select for $2 a lb. they were nice.Crawfish, crawdad.
