FEL Bucket weld cracks.

I just noticed this the other day.. a series of vertical cracks on each side of the horizontal welds.. on the bottom bucket plate. The cracks are only 1/4 inch.. but I was surprised that all the welds had cracks on each side. I have a NH TC35D w/ SS.. 17LA.. w/ 72inch HD bucket.. almost at 600 hours. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this on their buckets.. I guess if the weld was continous across the bucket.. it might of held up better.

Can you be a bit more specific or post a photo showing where the cracks are ??

Yes.. I will take some pictures.. sorry for the delay.. had 65 rolls of fencing delivered on Fri.. each roll weights over 200 lbs.. even w/ the FEL helping me move to store it.. def. a tiring task. After looking at some pictures.. I believe my bucket is not HD.. thought that's what I ordered & payed for.. I'll have to check my order/receipt.. but it's been 3 years.

Guess youve been using the bucket for real. My little B7100 managed to crack frame and bucket welds more than once. Once redone they have held up well. Replacing the worn cutting edge with a much heavier one has also helped.
