Well, I am pretty sure on what I want, but I have my financial limitations. I was planning on a L3400DT with gears, but after posting and reading on here I am really thinking I should go with HST. My question is, will there be a noticable difference between the FEL capabilities of the L2800 HST and the L3400DT? According to the Kubota information I have found, the tractors have the same dimensions and weight. They also both use the LA463 loader. I have read about the Ansung loader being used with the L3400, is it able to be used on the L2800? Thanks for the help.

If it will fit the 3400 it will fit the 2800. They're the exact same machine -5hp. They both use the 463 fel and have the same lift capacity with that fel as well as at the 3pt. hitch.

They're is one more difference that I never could understand. The 2800 has a little more hydraulic flow.

Both machines are identical in every way except the size of the hole drilled in the cylinder block for the pistons (bore). Hydraulic capability is the same. The FEL, backhoe, and any other hydraulic attachment will perform the same work on either tractor.
