Does anyone think there will be a problem putting a toothbar on my 60" "light material bucket". The thought never crossed my mind when I ordered that bucket that it might be less resiliant than the standard bucket. I was thinking that "light material" meant not to overload it with "heavy material" and cause a safety hazard due to the slightly larger size. I never thought it might mean that it was less sturdy...it didn't say "light duty"...dealer also didn't mention anything when I had them put on hook,(with re-enforced pipe at top) or when I ordered a toothbar for it, (on a 2710).

I have a 2910 with the light material bucket and I really think your original idea about filling the bigger bucket with lighter material gives it its name.

I have a tooth bar for my bucket and have carried large amounts of rocks- filled to brim without a problem. There has been no damage to the bucket except for paint scratches.

jaypee, I agree with Rick; I wouldn't hesitate at all to put a toothbar on it. You may notice in your manual that the "light material" bucket (60") weighs 7 pounds more than the standard bucket (54"), so it might be made of slightly lighter construction, but not much if any.

Thanks Rick, Bird, again, your responses have put me at ease. I'm always second guessing my choices...
