Just wanted to give everyone here an update. First off, thanks for your help and support.

If you had read the thread before you know that my controller for the FEL was installed incorrectly. The dealer I worked with, Pullens Tractor in Culpeper VA aknowledged the mistake and offered me a new tractor. Although I wasn't happy with the mistake, AJ at Pullens really did his best. He did not try to downplay the mistake, or minimize my concerns. He looked at it, gave them the opportunity to fix it and then gave me the choice of taking the fixed tractor or getting a brand new one. I wound up moving one size up. The 6040 already has the FEL controller installed and no drilling is involved. I felt much more comfortable with that. AJ did his absolute best to insure I left as Happy as I was the first time I was at his dealership.

I am glad there are still honest dealerships out there. I felt I got a really good price and a really good dealer. They also will only charge for materials for the first service, labor, pickup and deliver are free. I thought that was a fair offer.

In truth, after all that happened and how well it was handled, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone. Matter of fact, tell AJ, that Bryan sent you, he truly will take care of you.

Pullens Tractor; Culpeper VA, see AJ. I could not ask for a better dealer.

Now as far as the 6040 goes? Uhh.... words fail me, what a beautiful tractor. The small things really sold me on this one. That is not to say the 4330 is a bad tractor by any means, the 6040 is just that much better in my opinion. I can't wait until I get it tommorrow.

Thanks again to all of you. I will write more when I learn more about the 6040.

M6040 Cab tractor, Hydro Shuttle.
self leveleing loader, CD Radio, Ag tires filled, I think that is is for the options.
I did buy pallet forks and bucket teeth.

Kind Regards,

Bryan

I had followed the last thread on this, and am glad to hear it worked out for you ! I can imagaine the sinking feeling in you gut when you found their mistake, and the panic you must have felt just thinking about the run-around you were expecting to get !! Glad to hear they were so willing to make it right by you ! Dealers like that are getting harder to come by !

Bryan , I also followed the previous thread. I was more interest on how you would handle the problem than how the dealer responded. Pat yourself on the back. You did great. tony

Thanks to all. I tried not to over-react, but was honest. It so happened I was dealing with an honest dealer. He made it right. I don't imagine he made all that much on the 6040, but he did his best and I believed him. I felt comfortable and I felt he took the high road. Thanks for all the input.

Kind Regards,

Bryan
