FEL float postion. FEL removal.

I just bougt a L2800 HST. I've been reading the manual on the loader. How do I get it to go to the float position? In the manual, the joystick is all the way forward, but when I do that, it just lifts the tractor off the ground.

Also, anyone have any pointers on FEL loader removal. I'm going to follow the manual, but I thought you guys might have some tricks up your sleeves.

I had the same experience with the float position... all the way forward just keeps lifting... until you push it even farther forward - like - you are gonna break it... it will "pop" or click into the float position. The regular movements are in the square pattern - float is like a click up in the middle of the top of the square.

Can't help with the FEL removal - I'm guessing - the BX24 loader is different enough that I would confuse you!

I sometimes bump the hydro pedal forward or back(lightly) or raise the loader up and down a little to try and settle it into place.
