Heh, when i was welding my loader, my father declared me nuts for spending so much time on something we'd only use 3 days a year to load some muck onto the spreader... Now 5 years later, they panic when the loader tractor is in the shop for a repair, because its so clumsy to handle large square haylage bales with a 3pt spear. They also spit on small square bales, its more expensive to buy and it needs a couple of hours to stack it on the loft, where even my dad can unload and stack a truckload of big bales within 40 minutes...I recently added some pallet forks, and for the life of me, I don't understand how I had the tractor for 3 years without the loader. It has added a whole new level of functionality, and has made lots of jobs lots easier.
