Jeff I have the LA482 mounted on a L3010 with the 4690A backhoe(with pto pump). These are a very good combination for this tractor. The first dealer that I went to tried to sell me the brushog brand equipment but when comparing fit and finish as well as loader cyclic times the Kubota brand clearly won me over
I found the specs for both the LA481 and LA482 at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorsmart.com>http://www.tractorsmart.com</A>. It appears that the two are basically the same with the LA482 having more breakout force and forward reach at the expense of a minimal loss in lifting height and digging depth. The Bush Hog published specs appear better than the Kubota in everything but cycle time, but they are using higher flow and psi to acheive those numbers. In addition, the BH loader requires that I pay an additional $150 for a grill guard that comes with the Kubota FEL. It looks like I'm going with the LA482.
