I have a CT225 with FEL. I would like to remove the fel when hogging, bladeing, etc. I looked at the Bobcat front bracket and suitcase weights ($$$ ouch - 500.00). Has anyone bought the BC bracket/weights? If so, can you take the weights off and leave the bracket on with the fel attached? It looks like a tight fit. If not, what have you done to put on front weight when the fel is removed?

I thought about it. Although you can add as much as you need, I'm just going to buy a heavy duty box blade for balast to the rear.

Hi Norm. Front weights would be nice to have, but I haven't given that much thought. Sorry I don't have any useful information for you.

This is the reply from Bobcat:

Hello Norman,

You can keep your bracket for the suitcase weights mounted on the tractor and also hook up your front end loader. As you stated, you will need to remove the weights from the bracket prior to hooking the loader up.
