Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking for a long time and finally had to post. I bought a IH 584 about 6 months ago and now have gotten a Case 70 loader to put on it. I'm trying to figure out how to plumb the lines. pump.jpg The circled area on the left is the actual pump isn't it?
The next photo is from underneath and I outlined what I think is the return line, it loops around the axle and goes into a port on the bottom of the tranny. The blue circle is a plug that I'm hoping is another outlet for a supply line to my loader. returnhose.jpg I really appreciate any help you can give me on this. Thanks.

Hydraulics:
Type: open
Capacity: 9 gal [34.1 L]
Valves: 1 or 2
Total flow: 16.1 gpm [60.9 lpm]

Your hyd system is open center, so each valve has to be installed in series.

So find the pump out line and run that to the FEL IN port, and continue the line from the PB port on the new valve, or to the 3pt.

All rank lines should go to tank.

Are you referring to the loader controls as the new valve? And the out or return line from the loader valve as a Power beyond? The return from the loader would need to tie into the line I originally unhooked to keep everything flowing right? Or does that line dump in the reservoir? Then what happens to the line I unhooked?
Sorry for all the questions, while I am an good operator, I'm not a mechanic, but I understand theory pretty well.

The line you disconnected would connect to the PB port of the FEL valve with PB adapter installed.

Tank line goes to tank.

Pump outlet would connect to the IN port.

The FEL valve relief valve will now become the tractor relief. It comes set, but you need to set it to your tractor pumps requirement.

Now I understand a little better. I didn't realize you were instructing me for using PB. I thought it was a series. So your way would have A pressure line going into the FEL control valve, a PB line coming out and going back to what ever the pressure line was originally feeding and a return going to the tank? Any recommendation on a PB fitting?

You have to order the PB adapter that fits your valve.

the Hose Outlined In Green Was From The PB Plate To The Transmission. I Just Unhooked It And Attached Some Fittings So I Could Unhook Quickly. JustHave To Put The Loader On The Mounting Points Now.
