FEL hydraulics

I just bought a yanmar 2000 and had a FEL built for it, the up and down action seems kind of slow, is there a filter somewhere that could be clogged or a screen that needs to be cleaned, or could the hydraulics that were put on the loader be too big??

It is a good possibility that the pickup screen is plugged. Underneath the transmission you should find 3 10mm bolts in a triangular pattern that can be removed to get to the screen. You will lose all your fluid.

If it is running on the tractor hydraulics it will be kinda slow.
