BX23
After changing the gas filter and the BX23 was running smooth, I decided to level some ground. The FEL was curling when trying to back blade and noticed the left side was hanging. Upon closer examination, I noticed the pin was gone. I searched about and the pin was no where to be found. I think I was using the FEL for 20 seconds when I notices the issue.

The bucket doesn't line up over the hole. Where do I start to get a new pin? Do I replace the right pin as well? Is this a dealer repair?

Jim,
I have one of those magnets on wheels that I use to search the general area that I was working in. I do not always luck out, but a FEL pin is pretty large and should be found pretty quickly unless buried deeply under dirt.
I would not think that it is a dealer repair. I make my own pins out of large bolts. I have used the pins that TSC sells but the best and easiest way it to visit your local dealer and get an original part. I would check the right pin to see if it's in good condition and replace it if it's worn.

If you go to a tractor supply type store, they have cat 0, 1, 2 pins. I've found those with the handle to be a good "get by" fix. The real pin, will have a grease fitting that is needed. Best call the dealer and either get one or get motivated to find yours. (They can be spendy!)

I'm not sure who your pin is secured in place once it's in the hole, but if you're using the snap over lynch pins, tie them up next time. I've lost several of them out my tractor because I say, "When I get done, I'm going to go tie this pin," and never get around to it.

Fortunately, my bushing/pin didn't come out on either side. I just replaced them not long ago, and notice today that the same two (there are four all together), one on each bottom side, are gone again! Arrrggh. When will I learn to follow through?

I used to keep losing the pins on my Kubota B7100 loader. The cotter pin would fall out and allow the pin to remove itself. I repaced the pins with a bolt of the same size and used nylon lock nuts. Have not lost one since. Does not look as neat though. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My grease zerks are on the bushing not the pin.
