I have the TC21D and i use the FEL for digging. It takes a nack to learn to utilize how to angle the bucket to dig. I use low gear, 540 pto range for rpm's and lots of diff lock to get under the sod to begin with. I have 200 lbs hanging on the 3pnt for grip. I have turf tires also. Take your time and practice with loader angle. I talked with my dealer and they said a tooth bar makes the bucket to agressive, but if i really wanted one they got'um. Just practice. Ive learned alot so far, having lots of fun at the same time. Ive been clearing this area in my yard thats all grown up. The other owners use this area as a toss all area for years. Ive dug up about 20 yards good top soil from this area, with lots of campfire wood included in this area to burn. I am so suprised of the power this unit has. Big ol rocks too. Enjoy the seat time and practice is your best bet to learn.

If you have the 7308, you might check out page 16 of your operator's manual "peeling and scraping"
