That's a good reminder. I don't think I could get the bucket off loader frame if tractor wasn't running. Any weight on bucket or curl cylinders, makes pins a very difficult to remove. I have to go though this change a couple of times a year to get my Curtis 6 ½' snow blade on and off.

Mike,

What I usually do is to lower the bucket until its level to the ground. I then shut off the tractor and release the pressure on DSCV.

Additionally, I also lower whatever implement is attached to the 3pt hitch. Just another safety precaution. Given half the chance, children will get onto the tractor and start playing around with the controls. They just can't help themselves, especially when you're not around. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
