Hi all,
I have a 2001 TC25D with a 7308 FEL and associated valve on the right fender. I am planning to buy the hydraulic hose kit to hook up my backhoe more easily. I don't know if there are good instructions that come with the kit, but I figured I would give my good old buddies at TractorByNet a shot. There are two pictures I am including with this post. One of them is of the valve and the other is of the manifold. Regarding the valve, do I connect the rubber hose from the kit to the port with the red arrow? In other words, is this the power beyond port?

Also, I have the same question regarding the manifold block. Do I put the quick disconnect on the port with the red arrow?

I understand how the hook up the backhoe once the proper hardware is in place, I just want to clarify where it goes.

Thanks.

Can someone with a backhoe setup take a picture of their FEL valve with the black cover off and manifold? A picture speaks a thousand words.

KPK I don't know if this will help you or not as my rig is a TC-40D SS but here is a picture of my control valve beneath the joystick. The arrow marks the power beyond port of this valve and is plumbed to the manifold shown in my second picture. Look closely at the casting on your valve and you should see a PB marking in the casting itself, designating power beyond.

Here is the picture of the manifold block shown with the rear 3-point and rear remotes attached via the quick connect (see arrow).

To attach my backhoe I disconnect the quick connect and one of the two backhoe connections (male end) then mates to the female portion of the quick connect coming from the bower beyond port on the joystick control valve. The original male end then gets a dust cap snapped over it at that point to keep it clean. The other connection on the backhoe returns the oil to your sump, also a quick connect fitting (female). This connects near your rear axle on the right side.

NOTE: At this point the 3-point and any rear remotes are temporarily disabled to protect the backhoe.

Thanks PineRidge for taking the time to remove your cover and snap some pictures. Unfortuneatly, my valve looks significantly different from yours. I do see a PB on the casting, but it is kind of in a strange location and I can't tell if it is the top left port (when viewing the valve from the front of the tractor), or the side port on the left side.

I wonder if anyone out there bought the hose and coupler kit? If they did, I'm wondering what kind of diagrams and/or instructions come with it.
