Paul's work is simply amazing but for those of us who do our own work I just use a piece of pipe with a diameter just larger than the light and slightly wider. Bolt or weld on to tractor. If you have square lights you could use box tubing.

I was always busting off those cheap plastic OEM fender lights while mowing the tree line. I used to keep a couple of spares around as replacements. A few years back, I installed these:

There're plastic but much stronger than the OEM factory lights. So far, they've held up well.

I picked up guards for my Kioti from Paul and Kathy at Specialty Repairs Custom Mods and have been quite happy with them thus far.

That be one heck of a fabrication job!

meaning it would be hard ?

I guess it depend who you ask ...not too many people is equip to bend circles I agree but the square one is very straight forward bend a few small diameter round cold roll and weld them together I don't see the complexity ... even going to a local welding shop and getting them custom built wouldn't cost very much. two hour max from a professional 150$ 200$ max

$6 piece of SS tubing. Cut with side grinder. 1/2” hole for stem. Does take more skill to drill stainless. Made set for me and set for friend. Still have some stock for more or maybe a cup holder.

For the lights on JD compacts that are mounted on the roll bar, you can put them on the inside of the bar if you swap the left light for the right and the right for the left. That way the red and amber lenses are facing the correct direction. The roll bar protects the lights quite well that way.
