Thanks. After I drag it a half mile through the logging tails to it destination I'll put the metal roof on it. The trap door has a little trick for it to work properly. I won't be posting it's instruction on the platform.

Wild boar is best left to buzzards, after all they need to eat too. A guy gave me a butt roast from a wild boar and it stunk so bad when cooking that everyone had to leave the house. A homeless dog running around the neighborhood wouldn't even eat it so it ended up in the garbage. Total waste of energy cooking it.

It depends on the season and what they have been eating. Late spring, early summer, when they have been eating all the good new growth is the best time around here. But an old male harvested in the winter or late fall wouldn't be high on my list of meals.
