Wild boar is best left to buzzards, after all they need to eat too. A guy gave me a butt roast from a wild boar and it stunk so bad when cooking that everyone had to leave the house. A homeless dog running around the neighborhood wouldn't even eat it so it ended up in the garbage. Total waste of energy cooking it.

Killed a wild boar a couple of months back. Put the meat in coolers and kept it on ice for a few days. Kept the water drained and new ice on it. Tasted good as any. BUT the only reason I messed with it was another guy did the cleaning. I can't stand the smell to clean the things.
