Ferris IS2100z no power to left wheel

On my two Simplicity ZTR's I go around the yard and pick up the biggest sticks to prevent problems. A couple of times it did happen I stopped and pulled them out. It is dangerous for sure trying to run everything over and especially the big long sticks which don't get ground up by the blades anyway.

Update;
After having the cooling fan loose its blades almost two years ago we haven't had any problems. We have been careful about running over sticks. I still think the slope on the front of the deck acts as a stick feeding device. (I never did any modifications to the deck.)
Yesterday I purchased a new Ferris ISX2200 and noticed that Ferris has gone back to the square front on the deck. I don't know the reason why they stopped making the sloped front. Maybe I wasn't the only one with "stick issues":eek: .
My son will continue to use the 2100 and I'll have the new machine. Best I can tell the only real changes are the updated front suspension and the square front deck.
Hopefully these are actual improvements. Time will tell.

So, you bought an ISX2200 in June 2022 and another new one today? I guess you got a good trade - or why did you get another new one after only two years?

My IS2000 25HP Kawasaki (2010 model) with 470 hours is still running great - square front 52" deck and I run gator blades.

I have pretty bad spine/nerve issues. I bought a 52 inch model thinking it would work out better along some ditch lines. Well that didn't work out. The 52 inch model doesn't just have a deck narrower than the 60 inch. Besides the tires being smaller there are other changes axles etc.. While it rode better than my rigid frame Z1000 it didn't ride anywhere near as good IMO as the ISX 60 inch model.
I put up with the ride for a while but decided I either had to get a smoother ride or hire out my mowing. I also considered a ISX3300 but didn't notice a big ride difference and the price, WOW.:eek:
Hiring out anything is always a PITA and I'd like to do for myself for as long as possible.

Today I mowed about 4ac. and it worked out fine. I could even walk afterwards which is always a plus.(y)
Hopefully this will be my last mower purchase.

Full suspension makes a difference. A heavier machine with full suspension makes a better ride. My Simplicity Citation XL with the 61" deck rides fantastic on my bumpy 4 acres.
