I wouldn't be as concerned about the fert, with something like that, you're going to probably get some on the tractor if it's on the front or back.
What I'd be more concerned about is the spread pattern of the one you're using on the back for seed and this one...seed probably won't spread as far as fert, depending on the species being spread.
Also, if you're using an electric seeder on the back, I guess I gotta ask why mess with this one? Sounds to me like a couple holes in a loader bucket or some clamps onto something else you already have on your loader and you'd have it mounted, a few feet of wire and it would be functional...vs. cutting, welding, plumbing and buying a hyd drive motor...seems more expensive to me.
