I need to a) fertilize my yard got bags of granules to spread, b) spray the yard for weeds (2d4 using a 16 gal tank sprayer), and c) spray the hard for ticks, fleas, and grubs (again using tank sprayer)..

Is there any reason i cant put down my fertilizer with the spreader, then 'water' it in while im either spraying for weeds or bugs??

I don't see why not, but I don't think the amount of water you would be using to apply your pesticides will do much in the way of "watering-in" your fertilizer.

Nitrogen is the only element you lose if not watered in. And it depends on what type of N it is as far as how much you lose. P and K don't care.

Mother natures solved my question before I had a chance to do anything more.. Clear beautiful skies turned dark and gray within 20 minutes.. I got the fertilize down barely before the rain started and it rained for 45 minutes or so..

thanks
