Fess up, who doesn't have a Fire Extinguisher in there shop?

We don't have any fire extinguishers, or smoke detectors!. Just being careful I find is the best thing!

I disagree. It seams to me it is more like cheap and irresponsible. Not all fires are man made.

I always found it odd that as a landlord I often had more concern from my renter's safety than they did.

Every year I would inspect smoke detectors, document and install new batteries.

Almost without fail most would be missing or have the battery removed 12 months later.

I makes no sense...

How many people with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers also drive with their seat belts on, and use helmets on their motorcycles? Do your safety/responsibility concerns spread to all areas of your life?

2 smoke detectors, CO detector, 4 large H2O extinguishers, 2 large and 1 small dry chemical extinguishers.

Gee, I think the guy that lost his house close to me because the ATV battery charger started a fire in the garage would say that scenario was bad. And, yes, I do wear seat belts, helmets, chainsaw chaps, and sun screen. Like some say: "You can't fix stupid".
