My biggest gripe is that my open station tractor didn't come with a cab. Dealer was no help.....

Personally I don't like trying to read a wall of text and as a result I skip it.
As for my spelling, and punctuation, well I go over every post I make before I post it or right after I post and re-read what I posted to make sure that what I was thinking is what I put down. Hopefully with no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes.
As for the double post thing, although it is a royal pain in the arse, it isn't as big a pain as the posts with all the weird characters within.
That is about all I have to ***** about.

There is a guy on another tractor forum that is very experienced on older IH machines. But he writes very long pieces, with zero punctuation. But he is trying to help, and he does know what he is talking about. So folks roll with it.

Back in the early 70's, while in college, I would return to NYC every summer to drive a yellow cab. I would make enough money to pay for school the next year. One night I saw a rather large man waving for a cab from a block away. When I pulled up to him, all I could see was the top of his pants at the top of the car window. You guessed it, Andre the Giant. He had two beautiful ladies with him, one on each arm. When he got in the cab, the back went way down and the front went way up. His act at the time was that he only spoke French. In a perfectly fluent English, he told the me the address he wanted to go to. We talked for a few minutes during the ride. He was very friendly and a good tipper too.

I'm with you...I know it's not wise to give too much info in a profile, but if you're careful you can give folks a clue about where you are ("Southern Slobovia) and what you do.

I'm too economical to buy a high HP car. Cant see putting that kind of money out for the mileage I put on them.

+1 That's the making of a good grievance. Many of the foreign countries have vehicles that combine utility, economy, reasonable power and price far better than what we have available in the US.
