filled front tires?

OK Guys,
Thanks for the info. I have decided to fill the front tires
with washer fluid/RV antifreeze up to the 75% level.
I have had two air-outs on the front tires since March while turning with a
medium size load in the FEL. I may put tubes in - haven't decided yet. Hopefully this will alleviate this issue.

I have my front AGs filled with water on the 7520 with FEL. I use 75 to 90% fill for weight/down pressure and load carrying stability. I note 90% shows less compliance and am careful on major bumps. I have had a leak and run one tire quite low under load and turning. I expected a debead but it stayed seated fine. Makes me think that at full pressure there will never be a problem. Were your tires low when they debeaded. :confused2:

Larry,

The tire was a bit on the low side but still above the minimum
pressure.

I filled tires to top of inside rim standing up with bio fluid as I wanted as much weight as I good get. The tires are 10-5x 20. Aired up to 20lb and have had only 1 valve stem bruise in 400 hrs. But I'am running over stumps and wood debris constantly. I have to turn around on the skid trails to pick up logs so when I do this I usually down shift to first to allow tire to climb over stumps not abruptly with less shock. The heavy loads have not affected the tires yet as some trees weighted enough that loader could not lift them over a couple feet off the ground.

No. They never debeaded but would show wet on side walls. This also would let the air pressure drop and have a low tire. The loads I'am lifting are to great to have a low tire. Since the tubes are in have had no trouble other than a bruised valve stem. The only draw back is the cost of having them fixed as they charge for pumping out and in.

We rarely fill front tires with or without loaders and only do as a last resort. With ag tires life is half when loaded vs the standard steel add-on weights. Add on weights for traction will normally only require 1/2 to 3/4 the weight as liquid to do the same job.

i fill my fronts as ballast for rear weight.. every bit helps. many have front wheel weights and weighted front bumpers or weight brackets too.

My front tires on the TC29 are filled with foam. I'm not sure how much weight this adds but they are quite heavy. Never have to worry about flats and they work great with the loade, even over rocky ground.
