Filling the ROPS with foam on BX

So all of you are saying that if I put some spray type of foam into my rops, the whine will end? So it will finnally will sound like a tractor like it's supposed to?

Well there are decibel meter apps for smart phones that would tell you exactly how much quieter if a before and after reading was taken.

The app will measure a composite amplitude. This mod is probably a change in one of the tones, with little difference in amplitude & too subtle to be measurable. For this mod you need a phone app that measures satisfaction.

For those that have done it, how did you get the expanding foam all the way in the far ends of the ROPS? The straw on the can is only 1 foot long at most.

I've not done it in the same manner for the same reasons, but my first thought would be to find a piece of fuel line, aquarium air hose, or whatever else you can buy in what you feel is an adequate length that will fit snug over the straw on the can. Feed the hose into the deepest depths of the ROPS and pull the trigger while slipping it out at a slow/steady rate as it fills the void...

I pulled the ROPS off and turned it upside down. It is open and put the foam straw in and plugged the rest of the opening with a rag and let it rip. Same on the other side until it puked........
