Filtering through.....

I would like to find a new place to buy oil,fuel, and air filters for the TC tractors. Bought 2 this week and they were $12 each for the oil, that seems excessive. Anybody doing any better than that ?

Seems to be a common gripe. There have been quite a few posts looking for aftermarket sources, but I don't remember any definite sources.

Have you tried a search here or on service / repair ???

NAPA can cross reference the filters.

In both my old 1720 and now my TC 40D, I use the equavalent of a Motocraft FL-300. It is an exact replacement in physical size and threads and was previously used on many large V-8 autoengines. I've never had a problem with them. I've also used the AC and Purolator equivalents of the FL-300, but can't recall their numbers. Even the NH dealer has given me at least to differing filters when I bought from them. One was about the size of a lawn tractor filter (original) and the replacement was about the size of the FL-300.

no listing for the hydro filters.

you should check out the site...wixfilters.com ?? You should be able to easily cross the WIX #s
