Thanks for posting the picture. Thats the best way to share ideas on how you build stuff. Looks like you like electrical enhancements - some good work there.

Thank you....and if anybody have any questions just ask away, I'll be glad to help if I can. As soon as I find the pics of the ballast box and box scraper weights, I'll post those too.

Nice set up! Im a light addict - spotlights, flashlights, worklights, lightbulbs, etc.

IMO, the orange & green "safety flags?" that are wrapped around the ROP and the red strobe light look gay. If you cant be seen in a RED tractor, you shouldnt be out on it!!!!

Well for your information, they may look GAY, but the strobe is required by law here if you go on public roads and the orange and white safety arm bands.... well I just had those lying around the garage with no real use for them so I threw them on the ROPS for now, they are just velcroed so come off easy!!

Doesn't look too bad for me. I am always mindful of the output power of the Alternator. IE if you have a 20 amp alternator and drive with tractor lights and two aux lights you might be drawing 16 amps which does not leave a lot of juice to maintain a battery for winching.

Yeah I see your point David, I haven't had any problems so far and usually the tractor lights are off cause either the bucket or the plow are in the way of the lights so I turn em off and use the aux lights on the rops.... I haven't tried the winch yet either, I bought it cause I got stuck at the bottom of a hill in a trail I made not far from home, could not make it back up cause too steep, so had to leave the tractor down there for a couple of days......wasn't a happy camper...anyways got the slope down a little by grooming it with the boxblade and was able to make it up, got the winch afterwards but now have no problems going up or down.....:)

I just want to say that I really appreciate you posting these pics. Like alot of us here,I'm sure...I like looking at other guys ideas....so I can tweak ideas of my own or maybe use yours.

also...you cant be too cautious. I've seen a wreck where someone ran into a red fire truck...and lights were on.

Thanks hizoot, yeah feel free to use what you want and yep that's what I say too, you can never be too cautious.

Attached are the 3 pt drawbar receiver project, counter weight (balast box), bucket mods and the horn install.

You like building things too! Nice work as well. I agree with all the safety lighting and flagging, you can never have too much. Up until a year and a half ago, I have always had a motorcycle. The last one I rode to work almost every day of the year, 100 mile trip. The morning ride was always in the dark, and the evening ride was in the dark 6 months of the year. A coworker commented one day about how the bike looked like a Christmas tree. It wasn't quite that bad, but I had lights all over it, including a pair of spots that were relayed in with the high beam. I told him it was all about being seen by all the clueless idiots on the road that don't realize there's anyone else around.

A 19 year old girl, texting or doing something other than driving with her right hand, decided to send that bike to the junkyard. It was broad daylight, I always rode with the highbeams on, and I was in a pack of about 20 cars, and she decided it was a good time to cross two lanes of traffic moving at about 60 mph. Oh well, maybe she learned something that day.
