- Kubota B7100 HST/Kubota L4350MDT/John Deere L130
Last Tuesday I hauled home my first big tractor, Kubota L4350 MDT. This tractor was broken in by a septic company who babied it for the first 1500 hours. My uncle sells and services kubotas and said that it was in cherry condition when ever they brought it in. The guy I bought it from said the weakest point on the tractor was the clutch. He said his sons had the tendency to slip the clutch. In 1500 hours, he had to replace it twice. I was reading the brochure and it said that the clutch system was redesigned and actually under warranty for over a thousand hours. On the last clutch replacement job, they messed something up and the PTO would not engage under load. Thankfully, the seller told me about the problem and promised to have it fixed before he sold it to me. He fulfilled his promise and had them throw a new clutch in to start fresh. After driving a B7100 and a B21 for a couple a years, this tractor has POWER! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I’m still looking for a brush mower, tiller and a box blade.
And now I’m trying to dream up projects to burn diesel. I’m on a trickle well so my uncle gave me a 2000 gallon water buffalo. Once I separate it from the trailer, I’ll bury and use it for irrigation.
