Finally A Tractor Owner!

Congratulations, that's a really nice looking machine. We have an M8540HDC and a tractor that size will really sure will help with your projects. We finally bought a grapple for ours last year and run it off the rear remotes, sure is handy for grubbing out Autumn Olives and cleaning up brush, trees etc.

I'm not too far away in Washington Co Va but have never seen a reclaimed mine site in person and always wondered how they would work for farming, or more specifically, grazing cattle.

Any chance you can share a few pics of what the area looks like, how long it's been since it was reclaimed, ect?

Yes that is very interesting. What ,if any, topsoil did they leave you with and what will it take to make it fully productive? You and your very nice tractor may have a lot to do.
