Finally bought a Deere

Hey all, I just picked up a 1992 John Deere LX178. 980hrs and this thing runs like it's new, too bad they didn't ever sharpen the blades. I was looking at several and while I would love a 400 series I just could not justify spending more than the $500 that I picked this one up.

Thanks to all who unknowing provided me the knowledge.

I just bought a new John Deere 3043D compact tractor and I love it! I guess I知 old fashioned but I like a geared tractor and was happy when Deere made a smaller one, I only have 10 hours on it but it is a stump puller! The only drawback is the loader don稚 lift as much as I壇 like.
