I took the plow out yesterday afternoon and worked to dark, this morning I wondering if the plow was pulling parellel with the tractor, so I drove the tractor down the driveway so it would leave the tire impressions on the dirt, drove the left tire up 6 inches of wood and put the plow down. Then I took a 2x6 and layed it on the ground over the marks I left with the tires. the i measures from the back of the share to the front and there was an inch and a half difference, so I loosened the nuts and turned the offset bar intill the plow was square with the tractor, everything else was level and ready to go. So I start plowing and it might have pulled true but the plow was so far over I would have had to move the tires over at least 6 inches to get them to ride in the furrow. So I said screw it and moved it back to the original settings and finished the fields. Was thinking maybe my tractor is just to big for this plow? I'm not to worried about it cause I don't think I'll be using that plow again. Thinking of getting something bigger, so 20 hours older and 45 gallons of gas poorer, I think I'm done for now. now I just have to find a disc and get it worked up before it snows.
