Finally had some time to work on the shop again. On Saturday I sanded the second coat of mud on the sheetrock, went out and bought primer, light gray paint and medium gray for trim and bought the wood trim for the door and windows. Got home and painted everything with primer and pre-painted all of the trim boards medium gray. On Monday I put two coats of light gray on the walls and one coat of medium gray on the windows and door. Today I put on the second coat of medium gray on the windows and door, cut and installed all of the trim and then installed all of the cabinets. Made a ton of progress, very pleased with how it is turning out!

Awesome thread....you have really transformed this space!

I second the recommendation to run a heavy wire between the breaker box and shop. You have enough spaces in your breaker box (2) to run a 100A subpanel out into the garage. Dig the current wire up, bury conduit, and run some heavy cable through it.

Finally finished the shop today. Installed the baseboard trim and the peg board. Went with a white plastic pegboard and plastic hooks from Wallpeg.com. Very pleased with it. The hooks lock in nicely, and absolutely will not fall out. I went with the plastic pegboard over metal because I had to cut out the openings for the plugs, and trim the boards to fit, and metal would have been much harder to work with.

I started organizing my tools, starting with my cordless tools. No, I don't work for Ryobi or Ridgid, but I do like their tools!

I have a bit of organizing to do, here is the mess I have to get cleaned up! I'll be swinging by Harbor Freight to get some of their wall mount bins sets to have places to put all my screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. I want my shop to remind me of a good hardware store!

It sure came out nice!!! Love seeing all those cordless tools arranged like you have them. All of mine are in a plastic box behind my front seat of my truck.
