Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Finally Getting Some Snow

dirt ditch - almost looks like the Silverado has snow packed into the engine compartment. I guess if you drove it it must be fine, just the pic looks awful white in there!

Sorry to say we might have gotten three inches in places but mostly nothing is around today. I did manage to drag a little snow to make things dry out quicker.

March around here came, was, & went like a lamb, I think we only had 1 real day of snow in the month as I drive a plow for the highways that didn't bode well for the bank account, wish we had had a bit more, but now that April is here I hope it turns real spring like so tractor work can start soon. Hope your snow has quit and good luck with the clean up.

Your right jim, we couldn't see the engine when I raised the hood. Dug out what snow we could. Had to clear the snow from around the fan and get it turning free before starting it up. Let the engine warm up while we cleared snow from under the truck. Almost all of the snow under the hood had melted away by the time we left it to go get the tractor dug out and head home.

The county road dept. opened our road yesterday afternoon. It has warmed up and only the drifts are left.

Thanks gordyy, it has been 20 years since the last big blizzard so if the next one waits 20 years I hope to be long retired and kicked back in the house!
