Finally joined

Howdy! I've been reading TBN for a long time (especially Harv Lacey), and finally decided to join. Hopefully I can answer a few questions and learn a few things. I'm in the process of overhauling a Case 830CK, and I just got a little tractor to tide me over until the 830 is back operational -- a Case/David Brown 1390MFD with a front loader. Now I won't have to impose on my neighbors to help load when I sell hay (at least once I get a loader-spike fabricated.) My first experience with a tractor was my grandfather's Ferguson TO-30. I thought that was such a big tractor. Funny, now that my brother owns it, it barely seems bigger than a riding mower. Guess things shrink as they get older!

Welcome from NC, texaswren. I know what you mean about the TO-30 shrinking. We still have my dad's 9N which seemed huge when I was growing up but not so much now. Funny how the world shrinks over time, must have something to do with it drying out. Good luck with your Case. You came to the right place for help and advice.
