Finally ordered my TC45DA

Congratulations! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's a very good deal with today's pricing. It looks like your dealer is a volume dealer and that's good news for you. Did the dealer say how long you'll have to wait? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Jinman there is no type of volume payments paid on compact tractors so that has nothing to do with the pricing!

I understand, but if this dealer sells lots of tractors (by the looks of his lot) TMAC may not have to wait so long for his tractor, and this dealer is an established dealer in the area who is not "going away." That's what I meant instead of the "pricing" thing. Could "with" or "without" sales tax make a difference? I haven't checked the wholesale prices on the MN website for this tractor, but I did last week on a TC35DA and you were right on about dealer's cost.

And nothing in that package seems to be outside manufacturers which could lead one to believe they get good prices on attachments/accesories. All of it seems to be OEM.

TMAC it always makes my day when I see another New Holland Boomer ordered. Especially a TC-45DA like the package that you have coming. Did you get the service manuals so that you'll have something to keep you occupied till that beast comes in? It made some good reading material for me and you can normally get a deal if you purchase the set at the same time as you order your tractor.

I should be right on I am not hear to give a story but an honest post. The only difference between me and another dealer would be freight cost but I cant imagine that dealers feight cost much less than mine because of his location. I guess some dealers just want to buy market share at any cost. I dont understand that one but I guess it is great for the customers in those areas.

Jim,
Possibly within one week he might be able to get one in or two weeks. So will see how that goes. I'm anxious to get it, but if it take 3-4 weeks I won't be discouraged. I'm just tickled that I got a good buy along with a pretty respectable dealer.

I did not have to pay taxes on the tractor. I qualified for tax exemption. But the difference was were I decided to go wheel weights instead of filled calcium tires. Iron is outrageous $$. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Mike,
I had to go to work today at 1:30pm so this morning I arrived at the dealer at 10:15am. It takes me about 35-40 minutes to get home and I didn't even think about asking for manuals. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif He did direct me to the hat section though to get a few NH caps.

Maybe I'll get up tomorrow and take a ride back down there. I wish I had that written on my check off sheet today. Darn it. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I'm learning here... Why would a dealership want market share if there is no advantage? There has to be some incentive to being a high volume dealer, and I'm just trying to figure out what it is? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

This last weekend I put on two additional remote valves on my TC45D. I've never loaded my tires and I don't have wheel weights either. Those R4s sure are easy to handle without being loaded. At least you can remove the weights if you ever have to take the wheel off. That will make that job easier too.

It's funny, but even though it's steel, I am surprised to find out the cost has gone up. I shouldn't be, but I am. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
