I would like to thank all who have helped, either knowingly or just by posting in one of the many thoudands of posts I have read by others. Today I finally purchased a Kioti CK30 HST w/130 loader. I also purchased a 6' Midwest box blade, 6' Hawline rear blade, and a 6' Hawkline rotary cutter. Dealer was great, he spent time on a Sunday to answer my questions and help me out even though I had told him I was in the very ealry stages of tractor shopping. His time and honesty earned a customer. Will post pictures when I receive delivery (hopefully Saturday). Again, thanks to all.

Sorry, forgot to post the details.

Tractor w/loader $15,000
Rotary Cutter $789
Box Blade $450
Back Blade $300

Also, had to pay MI sales tax on top of that but, from the posts I have read, this seems to be quite a good price if not great.

Brian . Congratulations on the new tractor ! I know you're itching to get on it and do "stuff "with it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
If You haven't already done it , get the manuals for the tractor and implements . It'll help with the process of getting familiar with your new machine .
It will also take a bit of the edge off of the wait .
Smiling , or making tractor noises while reading them is considered bad form by the better half. It seems to indicate fun ,as opposed to real work /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Here's hoping for many hours of safe and trouble free hours of work from your new machine . John

CONGRATS ON THE NEW PURCHASE: NIXON makes a very good point, if u can get the manuals ,do so and read them. then when the tractor is delivered, sit on the tractor and read them again. nice when you see what u are reading about. Heard lots of good things about Kioti. pics a must when you get it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Noodlearm,

Congratulations on your new rig. The Kioti tractor has proven to be a good rig and very durable. Yes post pics when you get the rig home. To help the wait, go back in to your dealer and get your manuals and read from cover to cover and back again. As you use your tractor you will remember little tid bits.

Now I can't help but ask, but how did you come up with your nickname?? or what does it stand for?? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My nickname is from sports. I played baseball throughout high school and still play very competitve volleyball (travel for tournaments) and I used to throw pretty hard and I hit (volleyballs) pretty hard yet my "muscle tone" (about as muscular as a noodle) wouldn't lead one to think this.

Thanks all. Now I just have to prioritize my jobs. Shouldn't be too bad though. Another question I have though, after searching the forums, I couldn't find an answer on the best way to store diesel. Should I just get a bunch of small gas cans, or is there some other way to store it in a larger amount without having to have it delivered and rent or buy a tank?

Really depends on how much fuel you are going to use. bieing a tad older and arms don't like heavy lifting i find i like getting my diesel in 2.5 gal cans much easier on these old arms my tractor holds 6 gal and with 2 2.5 gal cans in reserve i can go a lot of hours, when i empty my last can then i refill them. always have fresh diesel that way.
