Finally Sold our House in CA

3 1/2 years ago our house in Woodside, CA burned while it was on the market.

I moved back to CA and as an owner-builder replaced everything except the foundation. Upgrades everywhere.

On April 24 we closed escrow on the house and are now permanent OR residents.

This has been a long uphill battle, but it is now behind us.

The final sale price was 49% higher than the listing price when the house burned, mostly due to upgrades.

I am green w/ envy my friend. I spent another several hours today looking
for a place in Oregon Specifically.

PS, if you see 50+/- Acres for sale that is mature treed, acerage alone, no house needed PM me! $50-75K maybe???

( I would rather build myself BUT bare land is not mandatory.)
