For 35 years we have always boarded a few horses along with our own. Just something that we have always done. When we moved here 5 years ago we moved way out into the boonies. This was a very good choice for us and our (1) horse. We have been advertising for boarders for five years here now with no luck. Boarders want convenience to big cities, an indoor riding ring, or hundreds of acres of trail riding available where they board. That's understandable. We have none of these things. We do have 20 acres of lush pasture that is all fenced in by new Red Brand no climb fence, a run in shed, nice horse barn, and a Nelson automatic waterer. Ours is a quite, well cared for, place in the country. And my wife has a reputation for her excellent horse care. So two weeks ago we have two people call wanting to board and they bring in four horses last week. Tomorrow another boarder is coming out to ask about boarding her horse. She was here about a year ago and looked at our place. At that time she said it was too far from home. So from one horse to possibly six tomorrow. We are pretty tickled. A lot of folks coming and going now to our place now. And a some more beautiful horses for us to take care of!

Since horses are by nature, herd animals, your one horse will probably be glad for the company.
