Nice looking machine /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif. Send some snow towards New England, the ski season is off to a slow start...

Early in the season, shorten up on your top link. That will raise the cutting edge further off the ground, rocking the unit back on its skid shoes. You will be surprised how little adjustment it takes. As the winter goes on and things firm up, you can lengthen the top link out to lower the cutting edge.

Hope this helps. I have the same setup as yours and love it. Depending on how much ice you get, you might want a set of chains on those turfs. I put mine on in December and leave them on till spring.

Hazmat - come up to Gore Mountain. Just talked to a friend who skied it Saturday and it was great. Like you say, limited cover, but what is there is in great shape already. Going down to zero tonight, get those snow guns blowing!

I hear that. I skied at Sunday River on Sunday. Not bad, considering they've only gotten 8" of natural snow to date...

I patrol at "ski" Bradford - note not "Mount" Bradford, in Haverhill, MA. We have a whopping 250 ft of vertical drop and 13 trails complete with terrain park. Poor stats, but it is 10 minutes from my house. They are hoping to blow some snow this week & open for the weekend.

In college I was on the race team & skied at Greek Peak in Cortland, NY.
