daveinnh,
Went with the DYNA QPS. I've driven standard tractors all my life and just don't feel comfortable on a HST. Probably just because I'm not used to it. The feature I loved the most was the synchro shuttle. It's the first time I've had this feature on a tractor and it makes loader work so much easier. I no longer have to shift into reverse, forward by clutching and moving the shift lever like on my old 1528. Now I just pick the range and gear I want, when I want to change from forward to reverse I only have to flip a lever on the steering column. If you're considering a MF, you can't go wrong. Other than a couple of old Oliver tractors my grandfather purchased, our family's farm has never bought anything but MF tractors starting in the seventies. We still have those tractors. A 383, two 135's and an unknown model MF loader. When my wife and I purchased our own farm, I went straight to the MF dealer. Never considered anything else. Wife says that makes me a stubborn yankee because I won't even consider any other brand of tractor. Oh well. That's her opinion.
