It's my neighbor's tractor - which I use a lot. He has done that with some of them that have failed, but some of them the end-fittings are a problem, apparently.

Got a NAPA around there? Theyve always had the fittings I need. Their make ups have always been good on my 7520 which does severe loader work.

Cool. Then I looked at the prices of the crimping tools, What's the cheapest one that would allow one to manufacture these hoses ?

I don't think buyng a crimper is a viable option unless you were planning on making 100s of hoses.

The hose you referenced is $27 from the dealer.

I was suggesting them for any type of hose end you might want, when you said certain ends were hard to find.

Hydraulic Hose Guy (member here) could tell you if D.H.H. makes custom hoses. Search for his posts in the Hydraulics Section and PM him.

I have bought fittings from them at reasonable prices I could not find locally. I plan to buy more soon. Several projects, I just need to get my list made and order.

Thanks everyone, for all the prompt advice. I have a set of hoses on the way from greenfarmparts. Dunno what the general opinion of them is here, but they seem really helpful so far. Maybe I'll check our that Discount Hydraulic place at some future date.
